At PAX East today, Gearbox unveiled the second campaign add-on for Borderlands 3. Titled Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, the new DLC will invite players to the engagement party of Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs.
More specifically, the expansion will take you to the icy planet of Xylourgos and the eerie town of Cursehaven, located beneath the colossal carcass of the fallent Vault Monster. This frozen wasteland is home to mutated rock slugs, ferocious wolven, and a band of creepy occultists who worship the Vault Monster's carcass and are dead set on breaking up the wedding. As you fight against these forces to ensure a happily ever after for Wainwright and Hammerlock, you'll be joined by Gaige, the fan-favorite fugitive Vault Hunter, and her robot BFF Deathtrap.
Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock will feature all of the bells and whistles of your typical expansion, including all-new weapons, Legendaries, and "supremely powerful" Class Mods. New cosmetic items, like Vault Hunter Heads and Skins, Room Decorations, and new Vehicle Skins will also be coming.
A trailer for Guns, Love, and Tentacles was also shared. It has sort of an eerie Halloween vibe, which is a tad bit strange considering the DLC releases next month.
