Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for just over a month's time. The newest entry in the first-person shooter is a return to form and roots for the popular video game series. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a reboot of the subseries of the same name and features traditional, realistic gameplay.
While featuring the return of many mainstays and fan-favourite modes from the franchise's history, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare introduces some cool, new components. Arguably, the best new addition that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brings to the table is a multiplayer mode called Gunfight.
Similar to the Faceoff multiplayer game mode from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3; Gunfight pits teams of just two players against each other. However, unlike Faceoff, players don't get to choose their loadout. You either spawn with a preset selection of weapons or you spawn in empty-handed and have to scavenge around the map for weapons.
Recently, developer Joe Cecot (@JoeCecot) revealed that Infinity Ward are working on variations of the Gunfight multiplayer mode in which teams of three can go up against each other — rather than two. Similarly, there's also a 1v1 Gunfight mode in the works which will simply see one player pit against another.

At some point, also 1v1!
