CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE Season One Extended Until February
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's first season has been extended by two weeks. Infinity Ward announced that the current season will now end on February 11, rather than its original end date of January 28.

The one-time extension of Season One will allow for more new content and activities to be implemented. This means new items and challenges, including an "in-game Challenge to earn the new Crossbow weapon, more remixed game modes, new playlists, and more in the Store to discover." During this extended time, players can earn 2XP, 2X Weapon XP, and 2X Tier Progression to help with Oficer Ranks and Tiers.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched in October of last year, but Season One didn't go live until December. The season introduced a slew of free content in the form of new maps, modes and weapons.

Infinity Ward's announcement of the Season One extension comes just a few days after the devleoper released a broad roadmap of what's to come. The devleoper promised a 3v3 variance of Gunfight mode, playlist updates, future improvements and fixes to known issues.
