Bandai Namco surprised fans of the Captain Tsubasa series by announcing that Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions — the first video game, based on the popular series, released in 10 years — was being released for home consoles and PC this year.
Prior to the game's announcement, Yoichi Takahashi — creator of the Captain Tsubasa series of manga and anime — shared a special message for the fans, in which he also revealed some interesting details about the gameplay mechanics in Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions.
Today, as a follow-up to yesterday's announcement, Bandai Namco has shared some high-definition in-game screenshots that give us a look at some of the game's titular characters, and also shows off the polished graphics Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will be featuring.
