Motion Twin has announced that they will be releasing some extra content for Dead Cells, their critically acclaimed Metroidvania, and that this content will be available at some point during the first quarter of next year.
"The Bad Seed" downloadable content for Dead Cells will bring two new early game biomes and a new, and challenging boss for players to face. Motion Twin has also revealed that this DLC will only cost $4.99, and that they are choosing not to share too many details bout it until they are close to releasing it.
Motion Twin also reveals that this paid DLC will help them support Dead Cells longer, so they encourage fans of the game to get The Bad Seed and allow them to develop even more free content in the future; making this paid DLC some sort of an incentive that will benefit both the developer and players.
With the announcement, Motion Twin also released a very short, grim, and hilarious teaser trailer that doesn't really show off any gameplay per se, but will still make fans excited for The Bad Seed.
