Supermassive has announced that its sci-fi survival horror game, Directive 8020, has been delayed. It will now come out sometime in the first half of 2026. Also, Reef Entertainment stated that Terminator 2D: NO FATE has been pushed back and will now release on October 31st.
Directive 8020 was first planned to come out on October 2nd. Terminator 2D: NO FATE was supposed to be released earlier, on September 5th.
Directive 8020 is a sci-fi survival horror game, Directive 8020. In this game, players go on a deep space mission to help save humanity. The story is told like a movie, and it’s full of scary moments. A dangerous alien is hiding in the dark halls of the ship and wants to wipe out all humans. To survive, players must use quick thinking, sneaky moves, and weapons they build from what they can find.
You’ll also be able to change your story using the new Turning Points story tree. You can make big choices that lead to different endings, find secret paths, and even save your crew from dying.
On the other hand, Terminator 2D: NO FATE is a 2D retro action platforming game. In this game, you’ll play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 through a variety of missions as you take on the T-1000 and try to put a stop to Skynet’s plans.
Players will also get to play as John Connor, leading the Resistance in the future. You’ll fight on the front lines as humanity’s last hope in the war against the machines. Plus, the game will have a brand-new story that mixes famous moments from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with new scenes and different possible endings.
