Last month we found out that CyberConnect2's upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot would be getting Gotenks — from the Buu Saga — as a playable character, along side other fan-favourite fighters from the Dragon Ball Z series.
With the announcement that Gotenks would be playable, some fans of the series may be wondering whether Goten and Trunks would also be playable individually, especially since they do have a small arc of their own during the tournament.
Well, the good news is that Goten and Trunks are, in fact, in the game individually. The bad news is that they will only be included as support characters; joining players during those heated fights against Majin Buu.
Bandai Namco confirmed this by releasing a small batch of high definition screenshots for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot that give us a good look at both of these characters, so be sure to check it out down below and let us know what you think.
