Both Microsoft and Sony have readied up another batch of free games for subscribers of their respective online services.
Xbox is giving its Games with Gold members four titles throughout the month, while Sony will give its PlayStation Plus subscribers three.
On April 1, Games with Gold subscribers can claim Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, an action role-playing game that takes you to the Shores of Midgard, "a world based upon the mythology and history of the Vikings, but with a fantasy twist." Truck Racing Championship -- a racing game based on the European Turck Racing Championship -- will be available from April 16 - May 16. From April 1-15, the action-adventure shooter Dark Void will be free before the retro run-and-gun Hard Corps: Uprising takes its place for the second half of the month from April 16-30. All of Microsoft's Games with Gold titles can be played on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.
PlayStation Plus members can claim their free games from April 6 - May 3. Oddworld: Soulstorm will be free on PlayStation 5 while Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War will be free on PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, the PS4 version of Oddworld is not included in this offer.
And Days Gone, while listed as PS4, is already free for PS Plus members on PlayStation 5.
In addition to the free PlayStation Plus titles, Sony is also in the middle of its Play at Home 2021 program, which provides the entire PlayStation community with free games. Between April 19 - May 14, PlayStation users can claim one of Sony's best exclusives, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, for free.
