Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC next week. And, according to industry insider ‘billbil-kun’, the next PlayStation game that will be released on PC is God of War: Ragnarok.

This shouldn’t really come as a surprise. God of War was a huge commercial hit on PC when it came out. Not only that, but Ragnarok was also included in the leaked NVIDIA GeForce Now list.
Speaking of that list, the only PlayStation games that have not come out are Demon’s Souls Remake and Gran Turismo. And, to be honest, I don’t know why Demon’s Souls hasn’t been released. Souls-like games are huge hits on Steam, so you’d assume that Sony would have already brought it to our platform.
Billbil-kun claims that the PC announcement will be made in May. The game is also rumored to come out on PC in 2024, though there is currently no specific release date.
Rumor has it that Sony will have a PlayStation event later this month. So, we might get the PC announcement of Ragnarok in that event.
Since Jetpack Interactive handled the first God of War game, we can assume that the same team will be responsible for the PC version of Ragnarok. So no, don’t expect Nixxes to be working on it. Nixxes will have its hands full with Ghost of Tsushima.
It will be interesting to see whether God of War: Ragnarok will support NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS from the get-go. Let’s hope that there will be also support for Frame Generation. And no, you should not expect any Ray Tracing effects. Similarly to the first God of War, Ragnarok will be a simple port of the PS5 version. So, don’t hold your breath for any major graphical enhancements.
