Job Listing Indicates That STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER Sequel Is Already In The Works At Respawn
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been out now for just over a month's time. The third-person action-adventure game is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players assume the role of a Jedi Padawan who managed to survive the devastating events of the Jedi Purge A.K.A. Order 66 and aims to complete his training whilst taking on the Empire and Darth Vader's Inquisitorius.

Shortly after the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a representative of Respawn Entertainment made it clear that the studio had a blast developing the science-fiction game and would love to further explore the Star Wars universe with sequels and the like — more on that here.

With that statement in mind, it seems that Respawn Entertainment might already be at work on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Electronic Arts recently put out a job listing for a Senior Software Engineer who would have to be familiar with the Star Wars franchise. Specifically, the listing makes mention of third-person action-adventures games — as you can see in the excerpt below.

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer who will embrace our philosophy and share his/her hard earned expertise to create an incredible Star Wars™experience for our players. We’re picturing someone who is passionate about the Star Wars™Universe and is invigorated by the idea of coding third person action/adventure games. If this sounds like you, we're looking forward to seeing your resume!

Of course, there's a chance this listing could be in reference to another third-person action-adventure game set within the Star Wars universe. However, given Respawn's aforementioned enthusiasm and that we haven't heard anything about another third-person action-adventure Star Wars game being in the works, a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is our best bet.
