Lego to sell official Minecraft-branded building blocks

Newsbrief: Today, the Lego Group revealed that it has approved an official Lego set based on Mojang's Minecraft, and the companies are now working together to design a concept for the upcoming toys. The Minecraft Lego project first appeared in December as an entry on the official Lego proposal site, Lego Cuusoo, and The Lego Group has since confirmed that the concept has passed its internal review process, and is set to move forward into product development. In its initial proposal, Mojang announced that it would donate to charity all the royalties it receives from this project.
