2K Games has revealed the official PC system requirements for the next part in the NBA 2K series, NBA 2K26. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need to run it.
According to the PC specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-9100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT or Intel Arc A580. The game will also require 110GB of free disk space, and it will use the DX12 API.
The devs recommend an Intel Core i5-10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 or Intel Arc A770.
Do note that in order to play NBA 2K26 on PC, you need a processor capable of supporting AVX2 and a graphics card capable of supporting DirectX feature level 12.0. Sadly, though, we don’t know the graphics settings, resolution and framerate these PC specs target.
It’s also important to know that the Steam page doesn’t show that Denuvo is in the game. And I don’t want to sound negative, but this reminds me of what happened with NBA 2K25. When that game was up for pre-order, Denuvo wasn’t listed either. But when the game came out, the publisher added Denuvo at the last minute. So, make sure to keep that in mind.
I also went ahead and compared these PC specs with those of NBA 2K25. And, as you can see, they are exactly the same. So, don’t expect any major graphical improvements. NBA 2K26 will look almost exactly like NBA 2K25.
2K Games will release NBA 2K26 on September 5th.
