NVIDIA has released a new driver for its graphics cards. The new GeForce 577.00 WHQL driver adds official support for a couple of new games. To be more precise, it will offer the best performance in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. It also supports the Unreal Engine 5 version of Valorant.
The GeForce 577.00 WHQL driver also fixes a couple of game bugs. For example, it fixes black screen problems in Counter-Strike 2 when using 4:3 resolution on the ASUS ROG PG27AQN monitor. It also fixes crashes in NARAKA BLADEPOINT when using DX11 and DLSS Super Resolution.
And that’s it. So, if you’re not playing any of the games mentioned above, you can skip this driver update. After all, if it’s not broken, there’s no need to fix it.
NVIDIA has not addressed some other game bugs. For instance, Cyberpunk 2077 will still crash when using Photo Mode to take a screenshot with Path Tracing. Battlefield 2042 still has some random square artifacts around lights during gameplay. Plus, World of Warcraft: may display artifacts when using Ray Tracing.
Like always, you can download this new driver from NVIDIA’s official website. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.
