One of the fun features in the new titles is the Ball Guy - a friendly NPC who hangs around stadiums in every town to spready joy by sharing special balls with trainers that take the time to speak with him.
The character has spawned a fun narrative between sites like Kotaku and Polygon who can't seem to decide if the Ball Guy is secretly a villain who wishes you harm or your biggest supporter. Now, the Ball Guy himself has decided to take over social media.
The official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account has announced a Ball Guy Rally that will reward trainers in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield with special prizes. You can see the tweet for yourself below.

While Western players don't have access to this rally yet, the official Pokémon Twitter account here has also been taken over by the infamous Ball Guy.
We don't know for certain whether or not the rally that is available to Japanese players will roll out here - but on the positive side - players here can redeem the following codes for free Mystery Gifts containing special balls which make it easier to capture different kinds of creatures in your adventure.
The codes below have been tested as good to go in America, courtesy of Polygon.
