UK-based racing game studio Eutechnyx has revealed plans to establish a dedicated publishing branch in London to help facilitate the launch of its upcoming social racing title, Auto Club Revolution. This new London branch will help prepare Eutechnyx for Auto Club Revolution's 2012 launch, and is evidence of the company's noted confidence in the upcoming title. In fact, the studio received an external vote of confidence just last week, when it was featured in the Red Herring Global 2011 awards, an event that honors the year's "most audacious and far reaching private technology companies" from around the world. The company's new London studio also comes after a recent funding round of £1.8 million ($2.8 million), which Eutechnyx said would go toward creating an additional 190 jobs on top of its previous total of 180. "We’re building a dedicated publishing team to support the global launch of Auto Club Revolution in key markets around the world" said COO Darren Jobling. "The development team in the Northeast of the UK includes some of the best people in the sector, and the opening of a London office will allow us to attract the right caliber of candidate to build a team with the publishing power behind it that the game deserves." Eutechnyx was originally founded in 1987, and has worked on a number of other racing titles, including Nascar The Game: 2011, Supercar Challenge, Pimp My Ride, and Cartoon Network Racing.
