Star Wars: The Old Republic launches in an additional 38 countries

Newsbrief: EA and BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic today launched in an additional 38 countries across Europe and the Middle East, as part of its aim to reach more potential customers. The MMO launched in the U.S. and a number of European countries last December, and reached 1.7 million subscribers in February, although its number of concurrent users at peak times has declined since then. From today, the online game is now available to purchase from the Origin digital distribution service and at retail in such countries as Libya, Ukraine, Turkey and Romania.
