SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE: According To Trusty Source, CRASH BANDICOOT Is The Next Fighter To Join The Game
The latest rumour doing the rounds is a juicy one, as it seemingly claims that the next fighter to be revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is none other than Activision/Beenox's Crash Bandicoot himself; a character that has been long-requested by fans of the popular character.

Again, since this is a rumour, it is best to keep those expectations in check, but what really adds some credibility to this rumour is the fact that the claim was made by Twitter user @MandyCanNot; the same insider who leaked that Byleth — the least expected character ever — was going to be the final Challenger Pack character to release in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Since Byleth still hasn't even become available, it will be a long time before we hear some official news about upcoming Challenger Packs; according to the insider, Crash Bandicoot will be the first Challenger Pack to be revealed when this happens.

In the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stream hosted by Masahiro Sakurai himself, the series' creator also revealed that all fighters in the upcoming 6 Challenger Packs have already been chosen, so it is very likely that at least one of them was able to get leaked by someone working at Nintendo. We'll just have to patiently wait for official announcements from Nintendo.

Legendary game worlds and fighters collide in the ultimate showdown—a new entry in the Super Smash Bros. series for the Nintendo Switch system! New fighters, like Inkling from the Splatoon series and Ridley from the Metroid series, make their Super Smash Bros. series debut alongside every Super Smash Bros. fighter in the series…EVER!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
