Tapjoy launches $5M fund for free-to-play mobile devs in Asia

Newsbrief: Social app and game monetization company Tapjoy has launched a $5 million fund for developers in Asia making free-to-play games on Android and iOS. The firm's Tapjoy Asia Fund will not only give qualifying developers capital for their projects, but also access to Tapjoy resources like its ad network for user acquisition, its ad marketplace for monetization, and its free-to-play/virtual economy experts. Tapjoy previously created a $5 million fund for Android developers in the U.S. last year, and has already helped participating studios release 155 apps and games.
