Newsbrief: Dead Island developer Techland says a sequel to its 2011 multiplayer zombie shooter is set to be revealed later this summer for PC and consoles. The Facebook page for the game shows the logo for Dead Island Riptide, although no details are provided beyond this, other than the fact that Techland is working on it. The original Dead Island was released last year to favorable reviews, and had topped 3 million units shipped by Christmas. A computer-animated trailer for the game proved very popular earlier in 2011, and is currently being used as the basis for a movie from Lionsgate.
