TORCHLIGHT FRONTIER Delayed Until Sometime In 2020

There is a new Torchlight video game, and it was set for a 2019 release date.

The title, known as Torchlight Frontier, will now likely be released in 2020 due to a recent announcement that highlighted a delay.

The announcement was made at ExileCon via developer Max Schaefer of Echtra Games.

According to Schaefer, there are less than 50 days in 2019, and since there hasn’t been any update where Torchlight Frontier is concerned, then the delay makes sense.

Furthermore, he went on to add that the 2019 release date was an early estimate, so as it stands, the game will ship once development is done.

At the moment, Torchlight Frontier is currently in alpha testing on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Since this is a role-playing game with a large world, the chances of it coming to the Nintendo Switch are slim.

However, if The Witcher 3 with its open-world can work on the Switch, then we see no reason why Torchlight cannot accomplish the same thing.
