505 Games has revealed the final PC system requirements for its upcoming soulslike, action RPG, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need in order to run it.
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers takes place in the land of Shu during the late Ming Dynasty. The world is full of factions fighting each other, and a strange illness that creates monstrous creatures.
In this game, players will take on the role of Wuchang. Wuchang is a skilled pirate warrior with amnesia. So, players will have to uncover the secrets of her mysterious past while dealing with the terrifying Ornithropy disease.
As with most Souls-like games, players will upgrade their weapons and learn new skills from defeated enemies. They can also improve their fighting style by using rare Red Mercury. Moreover, they will be able to develop new techniques as they progress through their exciting adventure. So yeah, as I said, this is your typical Souls game.
Not only that, but you will be able to augment your weapons with powerful enchantments. This will allow for a unique approach to combat and strategy that suits your personal style.
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers will be using Unreal Engine 5, and PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 580. The game will require 60GB of free disk space, and it will use the DX12 API.
Leenzee recommends using an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or INTEL Arc A750.
As the devs noted, these PC specs are with DLSS/FSR enabled. In other words, these aren’t the PC specs for native resolutions. Not only that, but we don’t know the framerate and graphics settings they target.
Interestingly enough, these PC specs are lower than those the devs have previously listed on the game’s Epic Games Store page. So, it will be interesting to see which of these PC specs is more accurate.
For what it’s worth, 505 Games has already provided us with a review code for WUCHANG. I obviously cannot share anything right now. However, you can expect a day-1 tech article. In that article, we’ll examine whether the game can run smoothly on PC and whether it suffers from any stutters.
