Zynga poaches a key EA exec to head biz-dev

Newsbrief: Social gaming giant and FarmVille creator Zynga, fresh off of its initial public offering, has poached a key executive from competitor Electronic Arts. Barry Cottle, who led EA's mobile, social and casual online games group, EA Interactive, has joined Zynga as its new executive vice president of business and corporate development. In conjunction with his departure, EA has restructured its EA Interactive business, folding it into its other organizations.
